Frames
I no longer ship my art framed. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, glass is heavy and likely to break in transit; acrylic glazing does not provide adequate protection from uv light in my opinion. Secondly, it increases your cost to have me frame the piece when you can obtain the same frames yourself. It also increases the shipping weight and cost.
I do ship either matted of unmatted art, as you prefer.
My preference for frames, particularly odd sized pieces like panoramas, is Nielsen wood frames. These can be purchased locally at Art and Craft stores such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby. They come in precut lenghts and are easy to assemble without tools.
