Dry Falls This is one of several very beautiful waterfalls in Macon County, NC, on US 64. The name comes from the path inside the falls that allows you to walk across the Cullasaja River more or less dry, except for spray. Dry Falls is in the Nantahala National Forest. The Forest Service has established a small fee to use the parking area. This fee also allows access to Whitewater Falls; so it is advantageous to vist both on the same day. |
