Snow and Rime Ice on the Appalachian Trail near Yellow Creek Gap

I was in Graham Co., NC, on a snowy day and went up to where the AT crosses Yellow Creek Road. We found an almost crystalline spectacle of the sun on the ice and snow at the gap.
